Is Memrov's personality test really free?
Yes. Memrov's core reading — Big Five personality scores, HEXACO honesty signal, attachment style, and dominant value — is completely free. You also get a short written interpretation at no cost. The full long-form reading (a detailed essay about how you think, connect, and work, plus a downloadable PDF) is a paid upgrade, but you are never required to buy it.
How is this different from other free personality tests?
Most free personality tests ask you to fill out a questionnaire — rating 60 statements about how you see yourself. Memrov reads your exported AI conversation history from ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini instead. Your conversations are behavioral data generated when you weren't trying to describe yourself, which makes the signal more stable and less susceptible to social desirability bias. You can't game a reading you didn't know was happening.
What AI conversation history does Memrov accept?
Memrov accepts conversation history exports from ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and Gemini (Google). It also accepts pasted AI memory text from any assistant. Each platform has its own export process — Memrov walks you through each one inside the app. Most exports take about two minutes to generate on the source platform.
How long does the test take?
About three minutes of your time. Exporting your conversation history from the AI platform takes around two minutes (Memrov guides you through it). Uploading and running the analysis takes under a minute. Your reading is ready immediately after the analysis completes.
Do I need to create an account?
You can start the process without creating a full account, but you need to sign in to save and access your reading after it's generated. Memrov supports sign-in with Google and other providers — no password required.
What's the difference between the free reading and the full reading?
The free reading includes: Big Five personality scores (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism), HEXACO Honesty-Humility signal, Attachment style (Secure, Anxious, Avoidant, or Disorganized), and your dominant Schwartz value, plus a short written interpretation. The full reading adds: a long-form written essay about how you think, connect, and work; framework-by-framework breakdowns; reflection prompts derived from your specific patterns; and a downloadable PDF. Many people find the free reading sufficient. The full reading is for those who want to go deeper.
Is my conversation history private?
